Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon

  • 5 garlic cloves

  • 2 to 4 cups beef broth (depending on size of your brisket)

  • 1 cup coconut aminos

  • 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke

  • 3.5 to 5lb beef brisket

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix all the  ingredients except for the brisket

  2. Place the brisket in a large roasting pan, fat side up

  3. Cover brisket with the marinade

  4. Cover the roasting pan tightly with foil

  5. Marinate in the fridge for 24-48 hours

  6. Roast at 300 degrees for 4 hours or 40 minutes per pound

  7. Remove foil and place under the high broil for a few minutes to lightly char the top

  8. Transfer to a cutting board and slice

  9. Put the slices back in the juices

  10. Best served hot
