  • 2 cups (300 g) plain bread flour

  • pinch of salt

  • 1 cup water

  • 6 tbsp butter

  • oil for cast iron pan

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in pan

  2. In a bowl mix bread flour, salt and water

  3. With your fingers mix ingredients until a dough forms

  4. Knead for 5 mins.

  5. Roll dough out with a rolling pin

  6. Cut dough into pieces using a pastry cutter

  7. Roll dough pieces into disks (about 7-8 inches in diameter).

  8. Spread butter onto dough disks with a pastry brush

  9. Fold dough and roll into a flat tortilla like shape

  10. Heat cast iron pan

  11. Cook the flatbread for about 2 minutes on each side

  12. You can eat it as it is or serve with curry or sauce
